737: How to use GTBank Transfer Code

You can use the transfer code to open an account, transfer money, pay bills, buy airtime and data, check your account number and BVN, check your account balance, subscribe to GOtv or DSTV and so on right from your mobile phone just by using *737#

In order to use the GTBank USSD or transfer code, you need PIN. To get a PIN, dial *737*5# and follow the prompts to choose a pin.

To recharge your line:

Dial *737*Amount#

Example: *737*100# to recharge 100 on your registered line.

Note: You don’t need PIN to recharge your own line. That is, the line you use to receive alerts.

To recharge another line: Dial *737*Amount*Receiver’sNumber#

Example: *737*1000*08023456789# and then enter your PIN in the next screen.

To check your account balance, account name and BVN:

To check for the account balances on your account, your BVN or account number, all you need to do is simply dial; *737*6*1# on your mobile phone and follow the on-screen prompts.

Transfer from GTBank to another GTBank account:

Dial *737*1*Amount*AccountNumber#

Example: *737*1*1000*1234567890# and then follow the on-screen prompts.

Transfer to other banks:

Dial *737*2*Amount*AccountNumber#

Example: To use GTBank transfer code to transfer to First Bank account 3087123456, just dial *737*2*1000*3087123456# to transfer #1000 and then enter your PIN or the last four digits of your GTBank debit card or hardware token.

For cardless withdrawal:

Dial *737*3*Amount# and follow the on-sceen prompts.

Note: You can only use 737 on a line linked to your account. That is, the line you use in receiving alerts.
